Today, 10 September 2010, Aker Solutions signed a Proteus Global Contract, making Proteus available on any of their projects globally, from any of their worldwide locations.

The Kashagan Project, one of the world's largest Oil & Gas exploration projects, has used Proteus to produce a number of "project-critical reports" for almost a year now, and has proven itself to be an invaluable asset to their Project Planning software portfolio and work program.

Likewise, the Statfjord Late Life (SFLL) Project, another key project within Aker Solutions, has also had 14 Planners use Proteus for over a year and a half, where it has also proven itself to be an invaluable asset in their Project Planning software portfolio and work program.

From seeing how Proteus can greatly assist project teams in their daily planning and reporting tasks, Aker Solutions have made a strategic choice to offer the same advantage to all their projects worldwide.

Quantum Solutions will in the initial phase train personnel from Aker Solutions to become Proteus Administrators, so that they will become self sufficient when it comes to taking new projects onboard with Proteus.  A set of templates will be created that will greatly facilitate standardization between projects, while allowing for necessary deviations where needed.

Proteus will be able to facilitate a unified reporting format, independent of which planning or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems each of their worldwide project happen to use, utilizing one of the many advantages of Proteus software flexibility.
