Quantum Solutions are working in conjunction with Croxus AS and Safran North America (SNA), on a Consultancy Project for a large Canadian energy company (who wish to keep their choice of strategic software a competitive secret, and therefore not reveal their name here).

Croxus is a Project Management software company, also based in Ipark, Stavanger, Norway.
 
The Proteus Consultancy Project is focused towards helping the client with a strategically important tool that is considered "Mission Critical". The Solution is based upon a very close integration between Proteus and Safran Project.  In fact, so close that the user will hardly notice where Safran Project starts and Proteus begins:

The user will see a new icon in the Safran barchart editor, and this launches Proteus. It is in this environment that the structural changes to the plan are carried out, and when user is done, a button is pressed in Proteus which hands control back to Safran, and the changes made in Proteus are reflected in Safran's barchart editor.  The user can then accept or reject these changes with the click of a button.

This is another good example of the flexibility of the Proteus' architecture. It also leaves the client with a great advantage when it comes to making future adaptations to business logic or implementing new ideas that inevitably arise during the course of an application's lifecycle.

Through the Proteus Configurator, in-house personnel can implement such changes themselves, with no prior knowledge of software development!
