24. November 2010.  Quantum Solutions AS and Promineo AS have today announced that the two companies have agreed to merge. The combined company will carry the Promineo name and have offices in Stavanger and Etne. The transaction will create a company with 10 employees and an expected 2011 turn-over in excess of 15 MNOK.

Like Quantum Solutions, Promineo is a software development company that has specialised in off-the-shelf products supporting project management. Promineo’s main products are the cost management software Promineo Cost and the manpower projection planning tool Promineo MPP. Through both these products Promineo share customer base with Quantum Solutions, and we are confident that the merger will provide added value to our shared customers.

While Promineo software uses a WEB client, Quantum has developed their software based on Windows clients.The combined company will therefore possess a broad technological expertise, and may utilise whatever technology is more fit for purpose when further developing the combined product range.
